This is one of my fondest memories. When I sang in this production of Rigoletto as Gilda, I was the only non-Italian in the cast. Everything was in Italian and they didn't slow things down for me when it came to staging and musical coaching. That gave me a crash course, although I had studied Italian before.

Still one of my favorite roles to sing. I love the melodies, they're so catchy.
