#259 "He Walked Again" With Guy Romain
In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Guy Romain, founder of NeuroFit360, a cutting-edge neuro physical therapy clinic that’s pushing the boundaries of outpatient spinal cord injury recovery. With locations in Florida and Atlanta, NeuroFit360 is dedicated to helping clients reclaim independence and mobility through innovative, high-intensity rehab after their inpatient and more traditional outpatient rehab.
Dr. Romain is a physical therapist specializing in neuro recovery. He holds a B.S. in Health Science from Montclair State University, a Master of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a focus on SCI from the Neuro Recovery Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s also certified in Robotic Gait Training through Hocoma and Ekso Bionics.
In previous episodes, we shared the story of Maurice- Andre, one of NeuroFit360’s standout clients. Maurice, who lives with incomplete paraplegia (L1-L2) and was told he would never walk again trained with NeuroFit360 and went on to compete in multiple triathlons. A remarkable journey of strength and resilience.
We look forward to sharing Dr. Romain’s perspective on recovery, innovation, and the future of neuro rehab.
