As I am writing this introduction the weather in the UK is still extremely hot and many of us are complaining! It seems that British people are never really happy whatever the weather may be doing. I must admit, it is a bit hot even for me, and I love the sun.
Well this week’s service is called, Be Prayerful. Prayer! What does it mean to you? Did you develop habits of prayer as a child? How do you pray currently?
We often think that prayer is primarily asking God for things, but this is only one small aspect of prayer. More broadly, prayer is about aligning ourselves with God’s kingdom - his values, concerns and mission.
Hearsall at Home is written and presented by Rev David Sutcliffe, with additional material this week from Denise Ree and Jenny Baxi.
The readers were Jane Chan, Denise Ree and Andy Thompson.
Music and songs by Martin Prue, Joan Cobb, Seb Farrell, Nick Leonard, Fran Pritchard and John Pettifer.
The written download was compiled by Jackie Pritchard and can be downloaded on this link.
Post Production was by Andy Thompson.
Incidental music and sound effects by ZapSplat.com.
Hearsall at Home is brought to you by the members and friends of Hearsall Baptist Church, Coventry, UK City of Culture 2021.
