We have all heard people say things like “we have never been more divided,” “the stakes have never been higher.” You might have even heard people say “we are headed for another civil war!” Today we dive into history to look at the time our country was more divided than ever. Connor tells the history of the Election of 1860 which brought Abraham Lincoln to the White House and led 11 states to secede from the Union in between election night and inauguration day.

Connor compares this period to today and brings some rational thinking to these extreme scenarios. He also talks about why we should expect a wild November and what we can do about it.
