In 1980, ABC commissioned a new show starring up-and-coming actor Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, about a couple of young ad execs who, after losing their apartment, are forced to dress as women to move into a women's hotel. Despite a great theme song from Billy Joel, the show only lasted two years.
