This week we talk about our fun (and possibly terrifying) experiences at the local county fair this past weekend. Nikki shares an experience with Samara that she never had the opportunity to experience with their mother before she passed in late 2023. We also want to give a big shoutout to the Southern Georgia Boys (whoop whoop!) who had a food stand at the fair and were serving up some of the best damn food at the fair!

Then Samara shares some HUGE and exciting news with Nikki and our listeners, and Nikki gives the best response!

As we do at the end of each month, we have our book recommendations for you all. Nikki shares a couple very steamy excerpts from her book recommendation, Want by Gillian Anderson. Samara gives us the rundown of her enthralling recommendation, The Moonlight Healers by Elizabeth Becker.

Did you know that not everyone can ‘see and hear’ a story playing out like a movie in their mind when they read a book (wack)? Well that is how it is for both of us (not wack), but apparently there are some people who don’t have that ability and they just hear their own inner voice reading the words and nothing else (super wack). Is this the case for you, and is it as boring as it sounds?

The game this week is Put A Finger Down and Nikki once again ends with no fingers up (she’s on a roll!), while Samara is left with three fingers still standing. How did you guys do??
