Dave Frank is one of the best high school coaches in the country. He coaches at Central Catholic High School in Portland where Galen Rupp once ran. At one point Dave held the steeplechase record at Stanford. He was also a part of the 1990 Hood to Coast team title. We talked about these accomplishments but we also talked about his philosophy behind coaching, why he loves to do this, and how he approaches the training aspect.
