Heidar Logi is Iceland's first professional surfer. Instead of heading off to warmer locations, Heidar is known for riding some of the epic waves around Iceland in freezing cold water. After a video shoot for IMPOSSIBLE at an undisclosed Arctic location (coming soon), we sat down to talk about his journey to becoming a pro surfer. We touch on his battle with ADHD as a kid, how he negotiated with his teachers to let him snowboard as a kid (and how it helped him get better grades) and how pushing himself to his limits helps create space to think, breathe and sleep at night.
