This week we dive into the word and learn from the Women who anointed Jesus and further talk through our posture of worship towards Jesus.
Are we approaching Jesus from a place of what we can gain through Him or what mercy and grace that I ‘in my weakness in the decay of my flesh’ have already been redeemed and made righteous with Christ?
This is the power of Grace: it compels us to live out of understanding our position in Christ, from this, worship, spiritual disciplines, righteousness, and how we live our life is our opportunity to pour out our own alabaster jars. May our lives be fragrant with the ointing oil of the Spirit, already given, already obtained, touching everything that we touch with the holiness and righteousness of Christ.
Notes:
Luke 7:36-49
Mark 14:3-9
1 John 2:20
2 Corinthians 1:21
Romans 5:2-11
