Let’s talk about things that make us sad and some of the things that don’t. We get into an unexpected conversation this week where Ash is nothing but downright honest about life. A lot of us are back in the regular swing of things, embracing “the new normal”, seeing loved ones, and attending events. We're back to responding "Great! How 'bout you?" when we're asked how we're doing but how many of us actually are "great'? In this second installment of what we’ve cleverly dubbed 'The Chronicles of Ash', he tells us about his personal experience during recovery and the short time after where his awareness caused the circle he knew so well to shrink. This has in turn effected his time spent which is mostly alone right now. How do we feel about asking our friends for what we need from them? Is it appropriate to “need” things from them in the first place? What happens when those we look to for support opt to wash their hands of a situation or responsibility?
