According to the Governor's office the state of North Carolina faces a $2.7 billion budget shortfall in 2011. To help balance the budget the General Assembly will have to make some tough decisions about spending appropriation and structuring--decisions that will no doubt impact employment and services. How do North Carolinians need to be prepared to adjust? We'll talk to two members of the General Assembly about what's on the chopping block and alternatives to cuts.
