Today on the podcast I am so excited to have had the opportunity to pick the brain of the amazingly creative Stepha Doyle. 

 

According to her Insta bio, Stepha is a brand photographer and creative director at DaydreamDreamday, but as you will soon find out, she is so much more than that!  A huge part of why I wanted Stepha on the Podcast was because of her ability to be multi faceted in business.  Social media and entrepreneurship has us thinking we have to fit into these perfect 9 boxes but our life (and business) is so much deeper than what just meets the eye.  Stepha and I chat about what it means to be layered in business and the ability to express multiple passions online.

 

We also spoke about branding and what it truly means to be authentic online, to express ourselves in a way that feels true to what we do and who we serve.  We discussed trends and how to not fall victim to what we ‘should’ be doing and learning to lean in and trust ourselves and our own intuition.  Trends come and go but our ability to remain grounded in our vision and messaging will carry us through and create not only a sustainable business, but one that remains true to our mission.

 

Finally, we spoke a lot about marketing online.  From the dangers of scarcity marketing, to learning how to navigate charging your worth as a creative.  Stepha and I dug deep on what it means to brand and market yourself with integrity so that you don’t burn out and your customers get the best possible experience from your services too.

 

Honestly, this podcast episode was just the two of us riffing on topics that are important to us.  It was a permission slip for us both to come back to our roots and remember where we came from and how important it is to connect with the journey as much as the big goals in the future too.
