Today I'm showing off an incredible woman, Melanie Jai, who has overcome trauma through creativity - advocating against bias around domestic violence and abuse survivors.

Melanie is the founder of The Paper Boat Project and a Sydney-based visual artist, advocate, and collaborator. She is passionate about casting a light on the long term physical and psychological damage caused by child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.
