September 29th, 2020, Danielle got the call that no parent expects, her son 31 year old son Jake was at the hospital on life support. Jake had choked on a piece of candy, was found by his roommate and was taken to the hospital having not had any oxygen for a unknown amount of time. Danielle drove 7 hours to find her son laying lifeless in a hospital bed. Over a few days, several tests were done to see if Jake had any brain activity. The decision was made that Jake's organs would be donated to different recipients. Join me today as Danielle shares Jake's story and her story of coming to help others through grief coaching.
