27. 100 Yen Shops in Japan (and Dollar Stores in the US)

Listen Later

Michael and Jordan talk about the amazing 100 yen shops (or dollar stores) that are all over Japan. In the first half of this episode they talk about the things that they commonly buy from Daiso and Seria. Then in the second half Jordan tries to guess the popular items that are sold at 100 yen shops in Japan and Dollar Stores in the US. Finally, in this week's English Tips segment, Michael (the Fox) and Jordan (the Tanuki) talk about how adding "~ize" to the end of an adjective or a noun, changes the word into a verb that takes the meaning of "make", "convert into", or an activity in general.
