Andreas Achniotis Perales is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Blackbelt who is the owner of Palestra Jiu Jitsu in Nicosia, Cyprus. 

I had the pleasure of having Andreas on our latest episode of the Grapplezilla Podcast and it’s a great episode that is eye opening into the world of BJJ in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

On top of running a world class BJJ school, Andreas is the founder of the “BJJ and Beach Camp” which is a week long camp in Cyprus where Jiujiteros and Grapplers come to train, meet each other, enjoy the Cyprus life all while having a world class BJJ guest coach join to teach.

Andreas is a seasoned BJJ competitor having medaled at the biggest tournaments in the world and has an amazing viewpoint on BJJ as well as being a proper role model for his students.
