* Six months ago, we began this trip through the book of Hebrews.
* We have seen that Jesus is not just an angel, nor is just a prophet - rather, He is God the Son who took on flesh in order that He might be the perfect propitiatory sacrifice for our sins. While in the flesh, He was tempted and tried in every way such as we are, yet without sin!
* We, therefore, are called to look to Him - the Author and Finisher of our faith - while we run this race of life.
* Last week, we began to consider this final section of exhortations from the author of the letter to his readers. The first half of these final exhortations were those which focused upon our relationship with God. We were warned to not be "carried about with various and strange doctrines" but to have our heart stabilized by grace. We were challenged to willingly suffer with Christ in the reproaches which the world brings against Him and those who follow Him. Finally, we were encouraged to continually offer to God the sacrifice of praise in both our words and our deeds.
* Today, we will be finishing our study of the book by looking at the final set of exhortations - those which our focused upon our relationships with the brethren.
* This message was presented by Bob Corbin on March 15, 2026 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.
