In Hebrews 7-8, we see how from the very beginning, God had a better priesthood in mind, with a better High Priest over a better covenant. This covenant was going to be based on a better hope, by which we draw near to God. It would be based on a better promise and a better ministry, one that is permanent, lasting, making all things new, and changing the way we worship forever.
