On the 27th of June we honour St Cyril of Alexandria, Bishop and Doctor of the Church, and the patron saint of Theologians.

Saint Cyril of Alexandria’s defence of the true nature of Jesus and of Mary’s dignity as the Mother of God challenges us to grow, not just in the knowledge of the Scripture but also in Church’s teachings and tradition.
