What happens when the vigor of your land decreases? 

First there is an invasion of brush and undesirable species.

When the land is new, or recently cleared, we see high productivity in our pastures mainly due to a high level of humus in the land that has accumulated from years of forest.

Then came the mismanagement of our ancestors with burning and continuous grazing where cattle weakened the roots of desirable plants by overgrazing, that is, re-grazing the plant before it has fully recovered.

I have seen this throughout my life and I have also learned how to bring the land back to life or revitalize it.
