Welcome back to Behind the Shedd!  In episode 27 Harold, Brian, and Russ sit down with record producer and Nashville music executive, Blake Chancey.  
 
Bio:
Chancey is the son of record producer and label executive, Ron Chancey, who signed George Strait, Jimmy Buffet, and produced The Oak Ridge Boys and Billy Crash Craddock among others.  

Blake began his career working as a sound engineer and first worked with Ricky Nelson, The Allman Brothers Band, and Joe Walsh.  One of his first successes as a producer was the platinum debut album from David Ball.  Siman and Worley reached out to Chancey to work at Sony Music as an A&R executive and producer.  While there he worked and developed The Dixie Chicks, Ricochet, and Montgomery Gentry.  He produced Waylon Jennings, Billy Ray Cyrus, Little Big Town, and Mary Chapin Carpenter as well as other Sony artists.

He is currently the chief creative officer and partner at RPM Music Group in Nashville and is a leading record producer. 

Behind the Shedd podcast is a weekly podcast series available on all major podcast platforms.  This podcast relives music row memories from Nashvilles most successful independent music producer, Harold Shedd.   Harold owned and operated the Music Mill Studio on Roy Acuff Place in Nashville and was later head of Mercury Records Nashville.
