27. Searching for Truth: Part 2, Surrender and Restoration After Leaving New Age Practices
Welcome back, listeners! We are glad to have you part of our new series Searching for Truth. We are never done searching for the fullness of the truth of who God is, but when we encounter Perfect Love our truth gets put to the test and is proved limited.
Laura & Tara share part two of their time with Meisha ––an acquaintance of Tara’s from high school–– as we hold space for processing all the new thoughts and feelings she has after being met with such script flippin’ Truth.
We pray that Meisha still feels relieved of the guilt and shame she felt as she reflected upon practicing and teaching others within the New Age Movement.
Listeners, we don’t know if you have already experienced the love of Jesus in such a way, or you’re inspired to share these episodes with others who are still searching for Truth that will satisfy their deepest desires. The Wheel of Fear:. Once again, Laura’s loss was a win for the kingdom of God! It’s interesting how simple acts of love for our neighbor can bring up all the reasons why not to follow through. Yet Laura’s loving nature and good intentions won again! She pushed through the lies she was believing and contacted the Title 1 school she volunteers at to help make the 5th grade graduation memorable.
