Third Eye Science

#27 The Aquarian age, climate change and the ocean

Listen Later

In this episode, I discuss the ways in which I am blurring the lines between science and spirituality in my life as an aquarian leader and an ocean science communicator and how we each can have an impact of the planet. The Aquarian Age is an astrological period that Earth has entered. This age is defined by truth, self awareness, and inner wisdom. We are being called to seek knowledge, leadership and God within ourselves instead of the old paradigm where we were taught that we had to worship something outside of ourselves. I use Greta Thunberg as a perfect example of an aquarian leader who is not putting up with the old system and urging action on climate—now. She is a 16-year-old girl who started a movement that has resulted in millions of young people joining the #FridaysForFuture climate strike movement.

This week, as Greta addressed the UN Climate Action Summit, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a special sport describing the far-reaching negative consequences that climate change has had on our ocean. I spent the last few weeks developing content for a media campaign to help the public understand that we are at the point where we must make changes in order to heal the ocean. The time is now and your actions matter. Please consider how you can make changes in your life that will impact your carbon footprint. Because we ALL have to be a part of the solution. We are the ones. This is the Age of Aquarius and there is a way through every block.
