Research has proven that Durable Skills - like critical thinking, leadership, collaboration and communication - are in demand across the workforce. However, all too often, meaningful opportunities for students to develop these skills happen outside of today’s classrooms. This isn’t just an equity issue, it’s an economic one. Building toward a more inclusive future means expanding opportunities in the education system to develop these skills.

Her personal story of being a college dropout and grinding her way through the hospitality industry in search of a better “grown up” career.
