We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. 

In this session, we continue our series on the Sermon on the Mount, in a new segment of 4 teachings on relationships that parallels the 4 we completed on finances and the stuff of earth vs. the stuff of heaven. In this episode, we continue our focus primarily on Matthew 7:6 and how Jesus uses dogs & pigs juxtaposed with the holy and pearls to teach kingdom principles in not mixing the things of God with those who would merely trample them under. We now utilize it to further unravel what Jesus's teaching in verse 7 means comparing it to the wisdom literature of both the Solomonic traditions and the Book of James in the NT.
