日本には、奇数が重なる日をめでたい節句といい、現在は5つの節句があります。

そのなかでも桃の節句と端午の節句はみなよく知っていますが、今日9月9日は重陽の節句と言います。

さて、明日9月10日は2022年の「中秋の名月」です。

旧暦の8月15日はちょうど秋の真ん中、中秋とされ、1年を通して最も月が美しい時期であるとされたことから、平安時代の貴族たちは、中秋の名月に月を眺めて和歌を詠む「観月の宴」を開いて楽しんでいました。お月見会では15夜にちなんで15個の月見団子とススキを月の神様「月読命（つくよみのみこと）」にお供えしお月見を楽しみます。

In Japan, there are currently five Sekku festivals that are celebrated on days when odd numbers coincide.

Among them, everyone is familiar with Momo-no-Sekku and Tango-no-Sekku, but today, September 9, is called Chou-you-no-Sekku.

Tomorrow, September 10, will be the "Mid-Autumn Moon" of 2022.

Since August 15 on the lunar calendar is right in the middle of autumn, or mid-autumn, and the moon was considered to be the most beautiful time of the year, aristocrats in the Heian period (794-1185) enjoyed holding "Kangetsu no Meizuki" parties, in which they looked at the moon and composed waka poems during the Mid-Autumn Festival. At the moon-viewing party, 15 moon-viewing dumplings and silver grass are offered to Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto, the god of the moon, in commemoration of the 15th night of the month.

En Japón, los días en los que coinciden los números impares se denominan festivales festivos, y actualmente hay cinco de ellos.

De ellos, todo el mundo conoce el Momo-no-Sekku y el Tango-no-Sekku, pero hoy, 9 de septiembre, se llama Chou-you-no-Sekku.

Como el 15 de agosto en el calendario lunar está exactamente en la mitad del otoño, o mediados del otoño, y la luna se consideraba el momento más hermoso del año, los aristócratas del periodo Heian (794-1185) disfrutaban celebrando fiestas "Kangetsu no meizuki", en las que miraban la luna y componían poemas waka durante el Festival del Medio Otoño.
