When I was 14 years old, my foster sister move in with us. She lived with our family for four years. Her life with us as a foster child was full of ups and downs. I have a tender place in my heart for foster care and the children that live in it. Jolene was put into foster care at the age of three years old. She and her two sisters were removed from their home and placed in several homes throughout their life. Life has its struggles and coming from those struggles, we can rise triumphant.
