Join us this week as we dive back into American deep politics while we reintroduce you to Allen Dulles, first civilian Director of Central Intelligence. We take a trip first to Dulles as an old man reminiscing on the Bay of Pigs disaster and his cold feelings towards deceased former president John Fitzgerald Kennedy, and then we double back to World War II and Dulles’ double crossing of FDR and he and his team’s manipulating of events to establish the “ratlines” that the Nazi high command took to evade justice and join Dulles and his coterie of freaks as they drag the Cold War into reality.
