OK y'all... happy election week 2020 LOL!!!! This has been a wild ride to say the least, and it has certainly brought out the best in some and the absolute worst in many. To address this, I have chosen William Stringfellow's "Dissenter in a Great Society: An Indictment of Christian Complacency in American Life" to be our book of the month. Whether or not you're a Christian, this book written 60 years ago still rings SO incredibly true. I highlight some major takeaways from each chapter in this episode, and I talk a little about my disappointment with how we as Americans (and Christians) behave. I highly recommend this episode to those who are contemplating their ethical and moral obligations to society, and this book to those who want to dive deeper into that. insta: @ivebeenthinkingpodivebeenthinkingpod.com Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/ivebeenthinkingpod) Learn more about your ad choices.
