In 1965, the creators of Get Smart and The Munsters created a new show for NBC called My Mother the Car, starring Jerry Van Dyke. In the show, Jerry plays David, whose mother is reincarnated int he form of a 1928 Porter touring car. Wacky hijinx ensue as he's pursused by the evil Captain Bernard Manzini.
