Elizabeth and Roger welcome special guest Dr. Josh Sharfstein, Associate Dean for Public Health Practice and Training at Johns Hopkins. Josh was formerly the Baltimore City Health Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner at the Food and Drug Administration, and previously Secretary of Health & Mental Hygiene for the State of Maryland. He talks about life as a public servant, how it compares to his new career in an academic institution, and how academics can build relationships and work with public officials.
