This is an affirmation meditation for Cultivating a Yogi Lifestyle. The affirmations are meant to be used as a daily reminder why you practice yoga and what it brings to your life.
For many people, it takes years to develop a consistent yoga practice of at least a few times a week for a long duration of time. Quite often when we practice yoga, especially as a beginner, we can ‘fall off the wagon’ time and time again. We can be consistent for a couple of weeks, or months, but then will drop out for even more months or even years before coming back to the mat.
So I curated these affirmations as your guiding voice to keep you inspired and to help keep consistent with your yoga practice. And if you have fallen off the wagon, you can listen if you need inspiration to get back onto the mat if you can’t cultivate the desire to go.
The purpose of this meditation is to utilize the power of positive affirmations to train the mind to want to go to the mat and practice. To want to break through the lethargy that sometimes holds you away. Because our spirits want to practice yoga. It’s the minds that don’t. And that is the practice of yoga. To harmonize the body and mind.
These affirmations nurture our inner dialogue with empowering thoughts, so we can overcome stagnation, ailments of the body and embrace a healthier, more vibrant existence.
I invite you to use these affirmations daily for 30 days. And watch what happens to your yoga practice transform into something amazing!
