Over the years there have been so many cases of gangs or groups of people going into store and grabbing hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise. And, during the holidays thefts always increase. LA is the #1 city in the US for organized retail theft according to the National Retail Federation.

So, the question is how to deal with it?

Recently, Governor Brown signed into law the new Organized Retail Theft crime law. And, Los Angeles and the LAPD have just announced a new partnership with ALTO U.S. to battle this trending crime. 

On this week's show we talk with officials from ALTO US and the LAPD. Karl Langhorst heads up ALTO U.S., Joe LaRocca is a Loss Prevention/Retail Theft Specialist and joining them is LAPD Commander Blake Chow.
