Jalen started playing basketball at a young age with great mentors, coaches and support system. He's grateful for the relationships he has built being a student-athlete and is currently a guard at South Plains College. 

Music is one of Jalen's passions as he enjoys making beats in his free time and listening to his favorite rap artists. Jalen talks about the March Madness environment in this episode and gives three pieces of advice to the next generation: 

1. Cherish every moment.
2. Put in the time and work for it.
3. Remain humble, pray and know your goals.
