Today we consider God as Elohiym, a God of power and might. In the book of John, we learn ‘Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.’ Such a singular and complete statement. All that exists was made by God. Light, life, love, our world, and the universe. In His was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Light is life - the essence of us and of God.
