28. Misquoted & Misunderstood - Understanding Misused Scriptures Part 4, Psalm 37:4, "And he will give you the desires of your heart"
Week 4. We continue our new study here at New Life regarding various scriptures that are often misquoted, misunderstood or misapplied. Sometimes we hear scriptures used to back up an idea or motive that isn't at all Biblical or within that scriptures context. Some scripture if used incorrectly can be dangerous. In this lesson we look at Psalm 37:4 - "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart" Because this scripture is misunderstood as to it's meaning, it may often leave believers confused and bruised in their faith.
We pray that these lessons help to understand, rightly dividing the word of truth and using the scripture within it's context as it is meant. These will also help you to defend the word of God against those who would purposely distort it.
