Vin and Elend go into the beast's lair, and we spend a decent amount of time realizing just how disgusting Straff Venture really is. I mean, we thought he was bad before, but that was peanuts to what we get to see from him this week. Our newbies are still looking for some action to kick off, but they keep getting politics instead. Ah well, with three armies hanging around and an anonymous allomancer hit squad in the wings, we're bound to get some good stuff at some point, right?
