One of the reasons why parents send their children to government school (AKA Public School) is because they want them to be salt and light to their unbelieving friends in school. Not only is this an undue burden on very young and untrained minds but it is not even biblical. In this episode i interact with a paper I found at the Nehemiah Institute website (Nehemiahinstitute.com) titled "Just What is the Salt-and-Light Argument?" written by Jay Jusino. In it the author says "Separation from the essence and practice of the world is not possible for Christian children in public schools because that system exists as a fundamental building process that literally shapes a child’s very being. This is what education is supposed to do." The author goes on to say that Christian children cannot be educated by the same system they are supposed to produce light against. Your first, second, and third grader is equipped or even capable of hold his or her own against the onslaught of paganisim unlished on them in the public school environment.
