Today is the day after the election. As I’ve written these notes ahead of time, it’s unknown who the next President of the U.S. will be. It’s been a heavy leadup and a hard four years, especially for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ members. No matter who wins, there’s going to be huge shifts in energy and emotions, which is why I am sharing this poem I wrote on the first day of this year. Use it throughout the next week to ask yourself “what does this moment call for?”
