There is a lot of confusion regarding the church. Many people, even professing Christians, view the church like any other kind of organization, where membership and participation are optional. Others see it unnecessary, or even harmful: "I love Jesus but not the Church." But if we knew what kind of gift the church is for God's people we would treasure it, find our rest in it, and strive to seek her good (see Ps. 122:9).
