In this episode, I share a story about how subconsciously it seems that our teenage daughter seeks our approval, but I'm not sure how aware she is of that dynamic.

It made me reflect & ask myself whose approval I seek? And maybe an even more important question…why do I seek their approval?

What are the consequences of seeking someone else's approval?

As a 30-40 year people-pleaser addict, the thought of seeking someone's approval now is almost repulsive.

Ideally for me, I would like to think I only seek the Lord's approval, but I'm not sure if I'm being completely aware or honest with myself. That is definitely my goal, though.

I pray this episode causes some self-reflection and maybe even some prayer.
