The session kicks off with a classic "be careful what you wish for" moment. Jane (Ruburt) had been wishing for their friend Jim Beckett to come fix their acting-up TV. Lo and behold, Jim just "happens" to drive by and feels a sudden urge to visit. Seth explains that this wasn't luck—it was a broadcast.

• Mind Your Moods: Seth warns that emotionally charged wishes—even the ones we don’t realize we’re making—get results.
• The Self-Pity Trap: Seth notes: "Whenever you catch yourselves in moods of self-pity, then you are courting just such results... Any charged emotional feeling will almost immediately be made actual."
• Selling Your Art: Seth tells Rob that if he passionately wants people to benefit from his paintings, they will sell. But if he's secretly afraid of losing a part of himself by selling them? Well, that's the "data" he's broadcasting to buyers.
