Have I ever told you that I grew up in Italy? One of the perks of being a military BRAT was that we got to travel and live in really cool places. It changed the way I saw the world. We didn’t just travel to Italy on vacation for a few days, we lived there for over three YEARS. As I was thinking about what I wanted to talk about today, a staircase came to my mind. The entire house was built around this gorgeous rock staircase on the island of Capri. The stairs were the foundation of the house. And it got me thinking about how we build our foundations.
