We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. 

In this session, we're exploring the Christmas Story and look at Zechariah & Elizabeth's journey again this time through the story of Elisha in 1 Kings 19 and how God speaks to us in the silence. Often we cannot seem to hear him because of this world's noise; yet, more often than not, our own voices are the loudest and make up the much of our difficulty in hearing from God.

We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives. Stay tuned for our future episodes as we continue to discover more mysteries of the Bible in the sessions that follow.
