29 - Intermittent Fasting, Acne, & Does Everything Happen for a Reason? With Stefani Ruper, PhD

Listen Later

Join me this week to talk to one of my role models since my young college days. Am I fan-girling a little? You bet. Stefani Ruper just finished up her PhD in Religion and Science at the University of Oxford in the U.K. Through her own experiences with various health issues, she started studying the literature on several lifestyle, physiological, and nutritional topics to find answers and heal herself. Stefani realized she wanted to help as many people as possible find better mental and physical health. The combination of her philosophical and nutrition/health backgrounds enable her to make said impact, and I was so fortunate to discuss the following with her:

The "Bigger" Questions
- Does everything happen for a reason?
- If something helps you find peace, clarity, and harmony, does it matter what said "thing" is?
- Evolution and religion

Health Topics

- Common causes of acne
- Hormonal birth control
- Intermittent fasting
- Trouble sleeping
