On today’s show, I’m speaking with Kevin. I met Kevin back in university in 2011 and he was in the same department as I was. After graduating, he went to work in finance and lived the high-flying banker life before realizing he wanted to more than merely increase profits and shareholders returns. He decided to enter impact investing and eventually landed up as employee #3 at a fintech startup. The startup didn’t become a unicorn as he had hoped for, but the experience taught him so much about what it takes to build a company, and we deep dive into that and more in our conversation.
