As I turned 29 this year, I did my favorite reflection exercise to round up 29 lessons in the past 29 years:
29 Lessons in 29 Years
- Put Yourself First through Prioritization of your goals
- Be Gentle with Yourself: Stop extreme self-criticism.
- Think Critically: Form independent opinions.
- Communicate Authentically: Drop ego in arguments and speak from the heart with kindness, even if it’s hard.
- The Power of Dressing Up
- Reframe Your Role with Parents: Experience the bond when parents become your responsibility as an adult.
- Redefine Wealth: True wealth is control of your time, health, money, meaningful relationships.
- Love the Process: Do what you love with full effort, regardless of the outcome. Trust the journey.
- Value Silence & Listening
- Diversify Relationships: Seek different things from different relationships instead of overloading one person.
- Master Time Management: Not everything is urgent. Use urgency-importance frameworks and communicate clearly.
- Mindlessly misusing Dating apps is a huge waste of time.
- Respect Your Free Time: Treat your 5-9 pm as sacred as your 9-5 work hours. Build your life and passions.
- Curate Personal Style
- Set Boundaries: Learn to say no
- Expand Your Identity: Don’t tie your self-worth solely to work. Build a balanced life with diverse interests.

- Take Care for Your Body:
- Make an Impact: Circle of impact Concept.
- Embrace Growth: Never become complacent. Keep learning, evolving, and challenging yourself.
