Edward Riordan began remote viewing in 1999 with an off shoot of the original CRV style as taught by a former United States military remote viewer trained by Ingo Swann. He has since explored various CRV methods as he finds it to be a better fit for his skills. In 2013, he trained with the highly respected and highly skilled former military remote viewer Paul H. Smith. He has been a contracted associate of Transception Inc. an R&D company specializing in the exploitation of CRV and other methods to lawfully extract technology from the state of nature as a means for building, licensing, and enforcing its intellectual property (IP) portfolio of patents and copyrights. A current patent application includes elements based on Edwards remote viewing results. He served as Associate Council for The Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies (INACS) contributing to their remote viewing study group. He is the founder and host of Austin Remote Viewers meet up group meeting bi weekly at INACS in Austin Texas from 2011 to 2015.In 2018 Edward joined CryptoViewing, currently (Future Forecasting Group), producing highly relevant remote viewing works on a weekly basis along side some of the top remote viewers in the private sector.In 2012 Edward began video taping his remote viewing sessions and posting them to his youtube page, he was the first remote viewer to post full length unedited remote viewing session online for free. Edward has continued posting his remote viewing work online for the world to see with a staggering 400 plus videos available for free. Along with standard "describe the target" style remote viewing, Edward has also turned his interests to the process of remote viewing, how remote viewing works and the areas of the brain that interact with these "remote" stimuli.
