Mea culpa: Joseph made a remark about Augustine being in Africa his entire life, but that way off the mark! Although he became famous as Augustine of Hippo (in modern-day Algeria) and lived much of his life there, Augustine spent considerable time in Rome and Milan before and after his conversion to Christianity.
