29. Spirituality in Business & What is the Ego Mind?
I’ve been on a much-needed Inner Winter within my body in showing up for my business and my work. Doing something fun and different as Spirit usually guides me into. Showing up in New and Different ways. I didn’t even slap the Outro music for this pod episode cause technology was being funky and trusting that this Pod-Walk episode was meant to BE as is.
Also, instead of my usual list of topics I usually share in the show notes, I’m writing a general overview of what I was guided to share in the moment on this lovely Pod-Walk:
I share an update on the recent events of the two workshops I hosted. I hosted a fun Tarot & Oracle workshop with Renee Precopio (replay here), and a group Business Quantum Hypnosis with 19 people — the largest group I’ve facilitated to date! No small things!
And then my Inner Winter started after those big events. As we collectively step away from the Patriarchy and into Matriarchal ways of being, we honor the seasons of rest and reflection —an Inner Winter. It has been feeling lovely and replenishing.
I get into what the Ego Mind experience is like, and I break down what the Ego Mind even means. What is the Ego Mind? I found this cool definition that Google AI generated:
“Ego mind” refers to the part of your consciousness that identifies with your personal identity, beliefs, and desires. Essentially the “self” that thinks “I am" this and is often seen as a barrier to deep spiritual understanding and connection — as it focuses on separation and self-centeredness rather than unity and oneness with everything else.
The lovely thing to notice when you understand how your mind functions to keep you safe AND stuck in the same place is that you can identify where you can expand and open to new possibilities —thus creating a New & Different life. A New and Different World.
